He was in Capt. Danieldson's 4th Mass. regiment from May to December 1775. He was wounded. He became major on 17771101. He retired 17810101. After the war he moved to Saratoga Co., New York, and in about 1800 he moved to Pompey, New York. Legend says that Capt. Lebbeus Ball was wounded and captured by the British. Two indians were placed in charge of him, and they started for the British lines. He was rescued by one of his soldiers named Munn. The name was given to two of his grandsons.
