He sailed 16350920 on "Truelove" from London, England, to Boston. He settled at Dedham, MA, in 1635. He moved to Scituate before 1649 when he was made freeman. He was a shipbuilder and built the first bridge over North River at Stoney Beach in 1657. He also kept a tavern there. He was Selectman, Highway Surveyor and member of Commission to Perambulate the Patent Line 1666.
