Notes & Recollections

He lived at or near New Providence, New Jersey, as early as 1764 and in Essex County until shortly before 1790. He moved to Washington County, Pennsylvania, about 1788 where he acquired a large tract of land lying four miles southwest of Amity and partly within the present Greene County. Elizabeth, his second wife, died at age 74 on 18190218 in Troy, Ohio.
